Who says the perfect route does not exist? It just takes time to find it

When planning a bikepacking trip to Belgium, we were met by a jungle of routes, tips and tricks – but a massive amount of question that were hard to find an answer to. This blog will answer many of those questions – documenting how a noob to bikepacking takes the first trip abroad.

However, this blog will not only be about bikepacking trips – it will also share some great routes around my local city – Oslo. And who knows – maybe those locakl routes will be expanded to other cities around the world (or probably first across Europe).

To both make it easy to find a good route – strava and GPX files will be shared along with a ride review. Further, maybe more important the cozyness of the ride will be judged on the coffie and bun at selcted coffeestops along the road.

The saddle time is mainly spent on my BMC Teammachine – and you will quite frequently also meet two Black Canyon Aeroads.

Lastly, as this is the about section and you have read this far – I am a soon to be 31 year old male amature triathlete. My motto for training has never been to be a pro (or, I wanted to be a football pro – but that dream quickly wanished when playing the Southampton academy team many years back…), but to always be fit enough to never say no to an activity or event – and funnily enough – that also led to my first Ironman 70.3…
